My broadcasting dreams began not in a booth but in the comforts of my own living room playing video games and attempting to nail that perfect call. This was where my broadcasting career began. A decade later, I chose to leave Los Angeles and move 2,500 miles east to Syracuse to learn from the best teachers and classmates in the country. I may have arrived on campus shy and inexperienced, but I had a strong belief in myself that I could make my childhood hobby a reality. I’ve faced a lot of obstacles throughout my time at Syracuse but each roadblock allowed me to carve my own path at a competitive school like Newhouse. I continued my growth as a broadcaster shortly after graduating. My time as KGET-17's Sports Director has proved my childhood quirk was actually the birth of an exciting and rewarding career.
